Cedar Street Food Bank began in 2011 with a card table and a van. Today, we share around 900 boxes of groceries each week with families across Charleston’s east side.
Alongside weekly distribution, we run a mobile pantry, send weekend backpacks home with schoolchildren and deliver groceries to seniors who cannot get to us. Everything we give out is donated, and almost everyone you meet here is a volunteer.
